1. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

  1. Remove the front bumper cover (Click here).



2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect the connector and 2 wire harness clamps.

  1. Loosen the hose clamp and separate the air cleaner hose.

  1. Disengage the 2 clamps and 2 claws and remove the air cleaner cap.



3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER FILTER ELEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the air cleaner filter element.



4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the 3 bolts and the air cleaner case.



5. SEPARATE HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

  1. Disengage the 2 clamps and separate the hood lock control cable.



6. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT ABSPRBER

  1. Disengage the 7 claws and remove the radiator support absorber.



7. REMOVE RADIATOR UPPER SUPPORT

  1. Disconnect the horn connector.

  1. Remove the 5 bolts and the upper radiator support.



8. SEPARATE RESERVE TANK

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and separate the reserve tank.

  1. Separate the radiator hose from the hose clamp.



9. DISCONNECT NO. 2 AIR HOSE

  1. Loosen the hose clamp and disconnect the No. 2 air hose.



10. DISCONNECT NO. 3 AIR HOSE

  1. Loosen the hose clamp and disconnect the No. 3 air hose.



11. REMOVE INTERCOOLER

  1. Disengage the 2 wire harness clamps and separate the wire harness.

  1. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the vacuum transmitting hose.

  1. Disconnect the intake air temperature sensor connector.

  1. Disengage the 2 wire harness clamps.

  1. Remove the intercooler with intercooler cooling air duct sub-assembly.

  1. Remove the 2 radiator support cushions.

  1. Remove the 2 grommets.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and the intercooler cooling air duct sub-assembly.

  1. Disconnect the vacuum transmitting hose.

  1. Disengage the 3 pipe clamps.

  1. Loosen the clamp and remove the vacuum transmitting pipe.

  1. Remove the bolt and the intercooler plate.



12. REMOVE INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR

  1. Using a 22 mm deep socket wrench, remove the intake air temperature sensor.
